Face Data & Camera Usage
Our application uses on-device face detection technology (via Google ML Kit) strictly for the “Daily Selfie” feature to detect facial expressions (specifically, a smile) in real-time.
Data Collection
We do not collect, store, or share any unique biometric identifiers. The app analyzes facial landmarks locally to calculate a “smile probability.”
Usage
Expression data is processed locally in real-time and used exclusively to trigger the camera shutter when a smile is detected.
Sharing
No face data is shared with third parties or external servers. All processing is performed on-device.
Retention
Mathematical face analysis data is discarded immediately after processing. Only a timestamp is stored for habit tracking.
Privacy First
All face detection processing happens entirely on your device. No facial data ever leaves your phone.
